Western Port proposed wind turbine construction hub

A community meeting on Western Port's proposed wind turbine construction hub will be held in Cowes on June 19, 6pm - 9pm at Berninneit.

The Port of Hastings is hosting a series of meetings for the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal (VRET), as the project team and specialists prepare technical studies for the Environment Effects Statement (EES).

The meeting will feature presentations from technical specialists on the assessments underway, followed by roundtable discussions where the public can ask questions, and share feedback.

On online meetings will also be held on June 24, 7pm-9pm.

Earlier this year, a Community Reference Group (CRG) was established for the project.
