Federal pollies lobbied for Cowes street funding
Among the projects seeking Federal Government funding is $25 million to upgrade Cowes' main street, with stage one to make The Esplanade become one-way between Warley Avenue and Bass Avenue, and stage two to "reimagine" Thompson Avenue, "where outdoor dining and trading" create "a people focused town centre."
