What are you most excited about women's soccer in Australia?
Although I only started playing properly this season, I have been a female soccer fan for a few years now and seeing the increase in appreciation for the female game post World Cup has been inspiring and hopeful. I can't wait to watch other people fall in love with the game like I have.

When did you started playing?
I first signed up to play in grade four only to be told girls weren't allowed to play actual games because it was a boy's sport. I played on and off through school but didn't get my own team until my first year of uni.
What do you love about the sport?
It's called the beautiful game for a reason! When it all comes together, it's just glorious.
What do you love about the club/team?
The support and acceptance. Everyone in the team contributes in such a positive way regardless of age or how long they have been playing.
What are your goals for this season?
To not get injured ... whoops! real answer: To work with our team, to better understand everyone's strengths and to support our players to be the best athletes they can be.
What are you most excited about women's soccer in Australia?
The opportunity. I've been in the game 30 years, and I've seen it go from being told girls can't play, to being the token girl, to watching our women become the heroes of the nation. Look how far we've come, and I can't wait to see where we go from here.

When did you started playing?
I watched my dad play Sunday league from seven years old and loved it from there. I played in the girl's team in primary and secondary school but that was indoor football.
What do you love about the sport?
The memories it creates in both watching and playing. For me, it's something my dad and I did together. I would watch him play on a Sunday afternoon then we would head to the local pub to watch our team Everton play. Best memories were the 1998 World Cup when David Beckham scored a freekick and we went mental, and we jumped and hit our heads on the ceiling. Again, 1998 World Cup when David Beckham got sent off against Argentina.
What do you love about the club/team?
For me it's about being a part of a family/community. Making friendships and enjoying something we all love together.
What are your goals for this season?
To make friends, enjoy the game and having fun with your friends.
What are you most excited about women's soccer in Australia?
The newfound popularity in Women's football in Australia due to the recent success of the Matildas in the World Cup. I love the World Cup.
