Film premier documents refugee family in Wonthaggi
Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia (CRSA) is hosting the premier of “humanKIND” on Monday May 1 at the Wonthaggi Club, 16 McBride Avenue, from 11am – 12.30pm.
This short film from director Sal Balharrie follows the community of Wonthaggi as it welcomes the Ali family from Syria.
The event will be attended by Minister Andrew Giles, the Federal Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs of Australia.
Minister Giles will also hold a short media conference prior to the film from 10.15am in Apex Park, outside the neighbourhood centre.
