Forum: Acute need for local mental health services

The Phillip Island RSL is proudly sponsoring a major Community Mental Health Forum, organised by Phillip Island Medical and Health Action Group (PIMHAG), to be held in Cowes on September 11.

The acute need for the establishment of mental health services on Phillip Island will be the focus of the forum, with representatives from key providers across the state in attendance.

Guest speakers will include Cameron Schwab, well-known Australian Sports Administrator and a leading speaker in this field; Jan Child, Bass Coast Health CEO; and Dr Howard McCormick, Phillip Island Medical Group.

Finger food and tea and coffee will be supplied at the forum, and community members are invited to attend. (Please request an invite by emailing  info@pimhag.com.au as this is an invitation only event.)

The Community Health Forum will be held at the Phillip Island RSL in Cowes on Wednesday September 11, from 5.15pm to 8.45pm.
