Free webinars to boost sustainable living
A series of webinars hosted by Renew to educate residents on sustainability will be held across 2024.
Bass Coast Shire Council and South Gippsland Shire Council have partnered with not-for-profit organisation Renew to deliver a series of free interactive webinars across 2024, to equip residents with information and tools to reduce their energy bills and live more sustainably.
Presented by experts in their field, the webinars will cover a range of topics including solar, home battery storage, electric vehicles, keeping warm in winter and cool in summer, and sustainable building practices.
Renew has been working in this space for over 40 years as an independent, not-for-profit body with a mission to inspire, enable, and advocate for people to live sustainably in their homes and communities.
The first set of four webinars kicks off on Wednesday February 21 and will focus on home solar and all-electric homes.
Future webinar series later in the year include topics on summer and winter home comfort, and sustainable building and renovating. Each webinar will take around 90 minutes and include time for questions.
