Winner of the Senior Female category Emma Jeffcoat was not at the presentation but wrote and thanked the organisers. Second place went to Rebecca Henderson (right) with Mia Foster (left) in third.
First place in the Junior Males was Gab Incani, with Bendigo Bank’s Joan Matthews.
Cassie Stoppa came second in the Local Senior Women’s category.

Lara Smyth took out first place in the Junior Female category.
Junior Female winners: Lara Smyth (1st), Abbey Clarke (2nd) and Mackenzie Wain (3rd). Mackenzie also won the Local Junior Female category of the Bass Coast Series.
Justin Tilly took out the top spot in the Men’s over 40 category on the day, and also for the entire Bass Coast Series.

Rob Fleisner, with Bendigo Bank's Bronwyn Pratt, came first in the over 50s Male category.
Peter Williams from the San Remo Hotel with Jo-anne Elvish, who came first in the Veteran Female (50+) category.
The Penguin Power team, who took out first spot in the Mixed Team Relay.

Organisers breathed a sigh of relief following the successful staging of the rescheduled Channel Challenge at San Remo last Saturday.
A sunny autumn day with gentle winds certainly brought large numbers of competitors and spectators to San Remo for the late afternoon event.
Organiser Ron Nicholson was thrilled to report a record number of entries to the rescheduled race.
