Dominant four-quarter performance by the Reserves
1 min read

Reserves

The Phillip Island Reserves turned in a dominant four-quarter performance on the weekend, dismantling Koo Wee Rup with a commanding 96 point victory.

From the opening bounce, the Island boys took control, moving the ball cleanly and applying consistent scoreboard pressure.

Their structure behind the ball was rock solid, allowing minimal opportunities for Koo Wee Rup and setting up wave after wave of attacking play.

Brady Ross was a clear standout, putting together a best-on-ground performance with four goals and a strong presence across the field.

His composure, footy smarts and ability to hit the scoreboard were on full display.

He was brilliantly supported by Finlay Cousins, who not only slotted two goals but worked hard all game; Ben Taylor’s leadership and clean disposal; Henry Peppard’s consistency around the contests;

Saxon Mau’s run and carry; and the composed ball use of Ethan Michaelides.

Other goal scorers included Lucas Chihotski, Brayden Kleverkamp, Harry Anderson, Jack Keating, and Bryce Pewtress in a well-rounded offensive effort.

This was a comprehensive team win and a strong statement as the Reserves continue to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
