Girl Guides disco fundraiser

Phillip Island Girl Guides hosted a disco fundraiser for children in years 2-7 on Saturday, June 18. Over 100 kids attended and had a fantastic time.

Many food and drink items were available for sale, as well as glow sticks and finger lights. It was a great and positive night for all who attended, especially since children have been stuck home for the last two years.

The Girl Guides are currently raising funds to send girls to a Jamboree camp in January and without the support of our community this would not be possible for some families.

“We would like to thank all those who attended and we look forward to hosting more discos and events like this in the future,” said a Girl Guides spokesperson.

“We would also like to thank all our parents and volunteers for helping make the night run smoothly.”
