Good Friday Appeal

Volunteers from the Phillip Island CFA will take to the streets on Friday March 29, collecting funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

From 10am onwards, the CFA will be at the intersection of Settlement Road and Thompson Avenue rattling tins and collecting donations.

A tanker will also be visiting all the local caravan parks.

A collection point will be set up at Berninneit, where donations can also be made.

San Remo

The San Remo CFA will be holding its usual street collection to collect donations and four emergency vehicles will be out in San Remo, Newhaven, Cape Woolamai, Surf Beach and Sunderland Bay.

There will also be fundraising at the San Remo Hotel, including a raffle and silent auction.

Jim's Bait and Tackle Australia are having their 7th Annual Easter fishing Comp.

And the George Bass Walk for the Kids is also being held.
