Good Friday Appeal: Day on the Lawn
The annual CFA Good Friday Appeal fundraising effort in Cowes has been boosted this year, with a Day on the Lawn.
As well as tin rattlers along the main street, Day on the Lawn, is taking place out the front of Berninneit (91-97 Thompson Avenue) from 11am to 3pm.
There’ll be family-friendly activities throughout the day, including lawn games, colouring in competitions, music, story times and special guests.
A Day on the Lawn includes:
- Lawn games: croquet, connect 4, corn bag throw and more
- Rhyme and Story time, from 11.30am – 12.30pm
- Colouring competitions with Easter egg prizes for the kids
- A special celebrity guest appearance between 1pm and 2pm.
There will also be music and local performers dropping by to entertain the crowd.
