Great game by U10 Red - vs Wonthaggi

As the sun broke through the clouds the pups gathered at the kennel for their round seven match – Phillip Island Red verses Wonthaggi Power, Led by the captain for this week – Balin Elliott.

A strong start from the pups as per usual with Leith Cameron kicking an early goal.

Captain Balin led by example showing great determination in defence which lifted the backline and kept Wonthaggi to only one goal in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Wonthaggi came out fired up and kicked a very quick goal, but the pups reset and forte back with a solid goal from Oscar.

Awesome third quarter for Fletch as he had the ball on a string, even if it was going the wrong way just for a minute!

Jack Caffery had an excellent quarter in the forward line, kicking another great goal for the pups.

The game was filled with many points by the pups and an amazing goal for Reeve at the end of the game in the fourth quarter.

The pups worked so well together as they shared time playing on the Wonthaggi side through the game as they were short on the day, this shows great sportsmanship specially playing up against your fellow teammates - they should be proud of the game they played on Sunday.
