Growing groundswell for new motoring event to match GP
According to supporters, the proposed Phillip Island Festival of Motoring could generate a local economic impact by year three comparable to the MotoGP and would surpass the MotoGP by year six. And as a "home-grown" event, it would not be taken away by an event licence holder.
