All relevant agencies will host a meeting this Friday, August 21, to inform the community about the latest H5N1 bird flu situation on Phillip Island.
All relevant agencies will host a meeting this Friday, August 21, to inform the community about the latest H5N1 bird flu situation on Phillip Island.
The meeting will be held at 5pm in Berninneit, and is being facilitated by Agriculture Victoria, the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Phillip Island Nature Parks and Bass Coast Shire Council.

Last week, representatives from Agriculture Victoria held a pop-up information session in Cowes, where they spoke to community members about the upcoming meeting and recent detection of H5N1 bird flu on the island.
The representatives spoke to dozens of interested residents, including a number who inquired about the possibility of volunteering to help native wildlife.
