Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shire Councils have developed a community services guide booklet for local health services and support organisations for the region.
This is the third edition of the booklet which is accessible online at both councils’ websites as well as being available within support service agencies and customer service areas of both councils.
"We hope that this guide is able to provide you with a quick reference to localised support services for yourself, family, friends, colleagues or neighbours to support the wellbeing of our community,” said Bass Coast Acting Chief Executive Officer, Greg Box.
“We thank all the service providers who continue to work hard to support the community and provide the best quality service and of course our partnership with South Gippsland.”
South Gippsland Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Kerryn Ellis said it was exciting to have the opportunity to work together with other councils to do more for the community.
"The health and wellbeing of our community is paramount.
“The third iteration of the Community Support Booklet is a fantastic resource for the communities of Bass Coast and South Gippsland and is just one of the ways local government takes care of its community.”
The document is readily accessible online at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au, www.southgippsland.vic.gov.au and www.southcoastpcp.org.au and can either be read online or printed.
The booklet will be updated periodically.
