Partnering for Innovative Workforce Solutions Conference

The South Gippsland Coast Sub-Regional Partnership is proud to announce the upcoming 'Partnering for Innovative Workforce Solutions Conference' at the stunning RACV Inverloch Resort.

This conference aims to foster collaboration, networking and inspiration among healthcare professionals, academia experts, and other health care leaders to address workforce challenges in healthcare.

The South Coast Sub-Regional Partnership, comprising Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, South Gippsland Hospital, and Kooweerup Regional Health Service, is a collaborative partnership that has been working together to improve healthcare for the local communities they serve. Strengthening the local workforce has been a priority for the partnership, and this conference will showcase local learnings, and welcome distinguished external speakers.

Keynote speaker Tanya Heaney-Voogt, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in health sector leadership, will address essential topics such as mental health in the workplace, effective leadership, and organisational adaptability.

Attendees will also benefit from insights shared by Duncan Baulch, Workforce Manager Victorian Hospitals’ Industrial Association and former Manager of Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Policy at the

Victorian Department of Health, and Dr. Grainne Lowe, an experienced Nurse Practitioner, academic, and researcher, amongst many others.

This conference offers a platform for networking and exchanging innovative ideas on leadership and wellbeing in healthcare.

It will take place on Friday, May 17, from 10am to 3pm at the RACV Inverloch Resort. Tickets are $25 per person (plus booking fee and GST), inclusive of morning tea and lunch.
