Heart and soul at Bang Bang Bar

Local musician Paul Patten, also known as Fonzie, will be performing his first gig on Millowl (Phillip Island) at Bang Bang Bar in Cape Woolamai this Sunday February 26 from 5 – 7pm.

A proud Gunai man, Paul has music in his blood, as he grew up around musicians and was performing for his family from an early age. He went on to study music and performing arts in Brisbane to become a musician in his own right playing shows across the country including the Byron Bay Blues Festival.

His song Strong Black Woman, from the EP of the same name, has become an anthem across Australia, while Crave, also from his first EP came in at number six on Triple J Unearthed.

Paul has recently been back in the studio recording a new EP inspired by living on Millowl for the past three years. He will perform a mix of covers and originals new and old in his own unique style. His powerful vocals, mixed with storytelling are sure to make this a memorable gig not to be missed.
