How can you create more time, less stress and after that, sustain it?

It is easier than you might think!

As a Goal-achieving and Balance Coach for women in health, life and business I see this a lot. Most of the women I work with want more time, more mind-space and calmness and just less stress.

The suggestions I list here seem easy to do, BUT … !!

Do them step by step, and slowly implement them, as you are changing your habits as well as your behavior. This takes time, and also it takes being ok with imperfection. Put your actions into practice, every day. This is where the secret of sustainability is, together with commitment to change.

First tip: Stop using the two most negative working words in the world for stress; busy and stress..

Stop filling your brain with negative words and sentences that only give you more negativity. “I am so busy”, “It was so busy today ...”, “This is so stressful”, “I am feeling stressed”.

Even if you still feel this, start by using other words like: “I am occupied with things I am choosing to do” or “I am feeling overwhelmed, so I will give myself a minute to breath and refocus”.

Really take your own responsibility here, and of course with that, a different approach.

Second Tip: While you are practicing to stop using these words, start thinking why you use these words in the first place.

Again take responsibility; what have you chosen in your life that is giving you that stress and how do you think you can resolve this? Can you structure it in a way that works better for you, that's more streamlined? Or try and make changes over time and replace the things are giving you this stress.

For instance, if you are not happy with your job, how can you change this? Talk with your boss and co-workers, or is it time for a change of path?

Third tip: Start your morning with a structured morning routine. This will give you more rest, calmness and focus to start the day.

Write down three to five things you want to achieve that day (not more then that).

Body-Exercise for your health, mind space, movement and happiness, even when it's just five minutes. It will change your world!
