Mother’s Day is an important day of the year for both mothers and kids that calls for a grand celebration. After all, your mum is the reason for your existence and she deserves all your love, respect, and attention. Depending upon what mum likes, there are lots of fun ways to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Breakfast in bed
Start her day by organising breakfast in bed. Make her favourite food - maybe pancakes, scrambled eggs or bacon and serve with a glass of fresh juice or a cup of tea or coffee.
Give her flowers
Flowers are the beautiful creations of nature that always makes people happy. A handmade bouquet or a special delivery from a florist is sure to brighten mum's day.
Give mum a day off
Set mum free from all the household chores on Mother’s Day. Perhaps a roster with dad and the kids will make sure all the essential household chores are covered.
Make her a card
Get crafty and create a special Mother's Day card for mum, with your own personalised message. If you're not feeling creative, don't stress. There are plenty of wonderful Mother's Day cards you can buy.

Spend the day doing something with mum
This is your mum’s day. So why not spend the entire day doing things she loves to do. You could go for a picnic, go to the beach, take a hike, cook together, go through old family pictures, or enjoy a fantastic lunch out at her favourite restaurant.
Make a playlist
Create a playlist of some of mum's favourite songs, so she can sing along in the car!
Surprise her with a thoughtful gift
Perhaps you can make something especially for mum, to say "I love you". Otherwise, visit one of her favourite local shops and pick out a special something to surprise her with.
Take over the kitchen
Keep mum out of the kitchen on Mother's Day. You can wash up, stack the dishwasher, or even prepare her favourite dinner for her.
Pamper her
A little rest and relaxation would be great for mum. Perhaps you could book a local spa session for her. A relaxing massage, refreshing facial, pedicure, and manicure is sure to make mum feel revitalised and loved.
