Island celebrity sightings

Turn the Page Bookstore in Cowes was delighted when author Clementine Ford dropped by the store just before Christmas.

Owners Lois and Paul (who handed over the shop to new owners on New Year's Day) made sure Clementine signed copies of her new book "How to Love" while she was there, which were quickly snapped up.

Meanwhile author, musician and broadcaster Clare Bowditch shared a post on Instagram saying in early December she and hubby Marty Brown snuck in a night away at a "stunning little cabin in Phillip Island, with an outdoor bathtub and view of the beach", describing their stay at Five Acres as "absolute perfection".
