Island developer upholds his boxing title

One of Phillip Island's biggest property developers – boxing promoter Brian Amatruda – has successfully overturned a bid to strip him of his boxing licence.

Mr Amatruda told the Advertiser the process to strip him of his boxing promoter's license had been a "witch hunt" and was "a bit like saying if there was an incident at the MCG or the tennis then the AFL or Tennis Australia would be held responsible".
