Jazz it up this Sunday

On Sunday July 16, Phillip Island Jazz presents Ron Anderson’s Bande Apart at the Phillip Island Bowling Club, from 2pm – 4.15pm.

Ron Anderson has been a regular at Phillip Island Jazz and can always be relied upon for an outstanding performance of well-known jazz tunes with his own particular style and approach.

Ron’s new band, Bande Apart is sure to provide great entertainment for the afternoon.

Ron, who is one of the most talented reeds players in the country, is supported by some very fine musicians all of whom are well respected in jazz.

Appearing with Ron are David Galea on bass, Vince Hopkins on guitar, Larry Keane on vocals and drums and lastly David Dower on piano.

Ron is also the President of the Inverloch Jazz Festival, which is holding its 29th event on the first weekend in August.

Don’t miss Ron Anderson’s Bande Apart at Phillip Island Bowling Club, 40 Dunsmore Road, in Cowes from 2pm.

Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for visitors.
