Kids teaching each other about the environment

Students from across the shire came together on September 2 for the Kids Teaching Kids Bass Coast Conference.

The environmental conference at the Penguin Parade was organised by Earthwatch Australia, which said the aim was to raise awareness and drive action on local and global environmental issues.

The students made presentations and did hands-on activities, focusing on local issues such as beach pollution, waste management and renewable energy.
