Afternoon Session - Practice 2

Redbull KTM Factory Racing has comfortably taken the two top timing results in this afternoon’s premier class Practice Session at the Phillip Island Circuit.

Aussie, Jack Miller, lapped best at 01:28.091 and was closely followed behind by Maverick Vinales (Aprilia) who placed 01:28.212 on the charts.

Free Practice 1

The start to the morning’s premier class Free Practice 1 saw the boys head out of the pits and onto the tarmac for the first time in a year - sunshine and a crowd of diehard Aussie rev-heads waited to greet them.

The leaderboard was fluid with names, keen to set themselves in good sight as Saturday and Sunday loom.

Powering through the session however, was Prima Pramac Racing’s, Jorge Martin - who topped the charts at 01:29.039.

Placing second, just under eight-tenths behind was Tech3’s Augusto Fernandez.

Maverick Vinales slotted into third with a time of 01:29.777 just five-tenths slower than his afternoon practice result, also placing him in third.
