Landcare Prize - exhibition
The Landcare Prize, 2024 is on at the Kernot Community Hall on the Melbourne Cup weekend.
The Landcare Prize supports the Bass Coast Landcare Network Public Fund, a non-profit organisation focusing on conserving biodiversity within Bass Coast.
Expect to see an amazing array of art on display from a high standard of experienced and respected artists. Beginning and emerging artists of all ages are encouraged to enter.
All subjects, mediums, and styles are encouraged, including paintings, sculpture and photography on any theme.
Entries close at 4pm Monday October 21. To have an entry form emailed to you contact landcareartprize@gmail.com or you can enter online.
Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to enter the Landcare Prize with a total prize pool of $2650 available.
Melbourne based artist, Herman Pekel will be judging all entries and awarding the prizes at the opening night.
There will be a “dress to impress” Grand Opening Friday November 1, 7pm-9pm.
Entry on the night is $20 per person with free entry for exhibiting artists.
The art show will be open to the public for a gold coin donation on Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3, 10am - 4pm at the Kernot Community Hall, 1060 Loch-Kernot Road, Kernot.
Those wishing to attend the Champagne Gala Opening Night on Friday November 1 can purchase tickets for $20 per person through Trybooking.
