Last game of the season for Youthgirls
It was the last game playing in the youth girls for four of the girls. A big congrats to Mackenzie Wain, Brinn Hamley, Jorja Newman and Ahlee Penry.

Phillip Island Youth Girls had a great win in Morwell on the weekend against Boisdale-Briagolong.
It was a great day to watch this amazing group of girls work together and win this game.
Each and every one of the players did an amazing job.
In the first quarter, the girls came out of the blocks fast with Mia Boost kicking the first two goals and then Qiarshi Adams kicking another.
Zoe Carr played in front and managed a couple of great handballs to get the ball out of trouble.
The second quarter saw Jorga Newman kicking an amazing bomb of a goal to get the girls up and about.
Bella Gude and Qiarshi Adams had great, accurate kicking around the ground.
The third quarter saw Ahlee Penry have a few great kicks into the 50 and Macey Stubbs and Lilli O had great pressure and tackling around the backline.


In the final quarter BB had a comeback and that made the girls switch back on and push harder.
The outcome was 12 to 30.
The Island didn’t kick any points in the last two quarters, but Boisdale-Briagolong caught up with two quick goals.
The team had a couple of great tackles in the backline and some amazing kicks in the forward line.

It was also Macca’s 50th game.
A big thanks to Nadine Newman the team manager, Nadia did a great job as always.
It was a fun day for the players and sure the spectators enjoyed it too.
