Little Penguin Dash

Little Penguin Dash is junior beach biathlon for 7 to 14 year olds, run in age-group heats, on March 2, starting at 10.30am.

There are two different length courses for ages 7-10 and 11-14 year olds.

Swim depth is adjusted for each age.

All ages will put their runners on in their age's transition area (7–10-year-olds near the toilets, 11–14-year-olds at the pier triangle), then wave to cheering crowds as they run under the event finish arch on The Esplanade in front of the pub to be presented with their medal.

• Marshal at the start on Cowes beach, east of the pier 15min before the race.
• Register at Race Centre (North Pier Hotel) and receive your race number and swim cap.
• Little Penguin Dash is participation-focused. Entrants are not timed and places will not be awarded.

Prices include GST, online entries only open 6pm the day before the event.

The minimum competitor age is 7 years on the day of the event. The maximum competitor age is 14 years on the day of the event.

Local resident category: To be eligible for local resident category prizes, competitor must have permanent residential address in Bass Coast Shire
