Kilcunda beach rescue
1 min read

Following on from the fatal drowning of four people at Forrest Caves last month, three people were pulled from the surf at Kilcunda this afternoon (February 4).

Ambulance Victoria confirmed a teenage girl and a primary school aged girl have been taken to Wonthaggi Hospital in a stable condition for further assessment.

A man in his 40s has been taken by Air Ambulance to the Alfred Hospital - in a serious but stable condition.

Police, lifesavers and SES crews were in attendance. It's believed local surfers helped get the three to safety.

More details in this week’s paper.
