Marketplace celebrates Christmas this Thursday
Running from 10am - 7pm, with 10 per cent discount storewide, and raising money for PICAL Pantry.
The Island Marketplace is holding a special Christmas Shopping Day this Thursday, December 15.
It runs all day from 10am until 7pm, with 10 per cent off storewide (excluding dry cleaning and gift cards).
There are hundreds of prizes to be won on Spin the Wheel, and a chance to win a fantastic Christmas Hamper, drawn on December 24.
The kids will love the visit from Peppa Pig, the Minions and Donald Duck, and can try their luck at the Guess the Jelly Beans competition (drawn December 24), while parents and busy shoppers will love the all-day coffee van.
There will also be a fundraiser food stall.
The Island Marketplace is a collective group of small traders that support local community business allowing them to exhibit in a rental space to sell their local produce, home wares, art and craft.
The Christmas Shopping Day will be an annual event for The Island Marketplace which will support the local community in fundraising for a nominated cause.
This year all money raised will support PICAL Pantry which does an amazing job supporting and assisting families and persons experiencing hardship in our local community.
“We hope everyone can come and join on the day so we can help raise much needed funds for their cause,” said the organisers.
“We would love to develop this event into a "Christmas Street Party" in 2023 so we can help those in need.
"See you there!”
