Cape Woolamai has always been one of the gems of Bass Coast, so it's fantastic to see it shortlisted in the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards.
This is something our whole community can be proud of.
Cape Woolamai is the kind of place that sticks with you long after you've visited.
From the stunning beaches and rugged coastline to the surf, walking tracks and local cafés, it's a place where people can slow down and enjoy the simple things.
Whether it's a walk to the Pinnacles, an early morning surf, spotting wildlife along the coast or just sitting with a coffee taking in the view, there's something special about Cape Woolamai that keeps people coming back.
What really makes it stand out, though, is the people.
Our local businesses, tourism operators, volunteers and community help create the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that visitors love.
Tourism plays a big role in Bass Coast.
It supports local jobs, local businesses and helps keep our towns thriving.
Recognition like this puts a spotlight on our region and encourages more people to come and experience everything we have to offer.
One of the things I love most about Cape Woolamai is that it has stayed true to itself.
It's relaxed, down to earth and full of natural beauty.
You don't need a packed itinerary to enjoy it.
Sometimes the best part is simply spending time by the beach and taking it all in.
I'm incredibly proud to see Cape Woolamai recognised alongside some of Victoria's best tourism destinations.
It's a credit to everyone who helps make this such a great place to live, work and visit.
I'd encourage everyone to get behind Cape Woolamai by Voting 1 Cape Woolamai and helping spread the word!
Most importantly, it's a great opportunity to celebrate a place we're lucky to call our own.
Voting for the VTIC Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards is now open and closes 5pm Friday, June 26 2026
