The new school opened its doors this week, with over 400 students enrolled in the years 7 - 9 campus.

Mr Merlino has been a regular visitor to the area, including turning the sod on the new San Remo campus and officially opening the school's new Senior campus in Wonthaggi in 2021.

In the 2019/20 state budget, the school shared in $624.8 million allocated for new schools. In 2020, the school received a further $5 million funding, followed by $25.76 million in that year’s budget.

Total enrolment at the college across all campuses will be more than 1600 students, up from 1510 in 2021.

The school’s existing sites are: the Dudley Campus (year 7-9); the Wonthaggi Campus (year 10-12), formerly known as the McKenzie Senior Campus; and a fourth campus, the FLOW Campus, was established in 2020 after the upgrading of the former senior campus’ gymnasium (Webb’s Shed).
