Most of the built-up residential areas on Phillip Island are currently serviced by Fibre to the Node (FTTN), where the existing copper phone and internet network from a nearby fibre node is used to make the final connection to the NBN. However, homes in new developments are having Fibre-to-the-Premise installed.
