Netballers shine bright in wet conditions at Bunyip - U11

Saturday morning saw another road trip, this time to Bunyip in some ordinary weather.

But from the warm-ups to the end of the game, this great bunch of girls didn’t let that get to them and they put out one of the best team performances to date.

The improvement and focus shown to carry out what they are learning weekly is second to none and they should be extremely proud of the way they are going about it.

The game was close throughout the four quarters with the lead changing countless times.

Heading into the last couple of minutes we were down by a goal and the confidence they showed in each other, and their game, shone through to nail the last two shots of the game to come out deserving winners.

The awards went to Ivy for her game through the middle of the court, causing plenty of turnovers and then providing creative passes to space all game.

Also, to Eden for a solid game in defence with intercepts and rebounds from the ring.

We might need to swindle a few more awards from the club if they all keep this team effort up!
