Netballers welcome Kilcunda-Bass rivals in local showdown - U17
Phillip Island: 59 def Kilcunda-Bass: 20.
A great game by all on this bright and sunny Autumn morning.
The first goal scored by Kilcunda-Bass set the bar for the Phillip Island girls to stay strong in their positions, and that it did.
Some great defence along with some strong mid court passes, led the ball straight up the court where the girls worked together to accurately score consecutive goals.
Throughout the second and third quarters, the girls stayed strong and committed to their positions.
With some great work by Kilcunda-Bass, Phillip Island managed to keep the lead throughout.
The last quarter showed the girls working well as a team and consistently drove the ball to the goal circles, with some exceptional goals.
A well-played game by all on court.
Best on court: Sienna Trew and Meike White.
