A new space dedicated to helping the body and mind recover, relax and revive has opened in Cowes, with Wellbeing Elements welcoming guests to its visually impressive bathhouse.
Designed around the principles of contrast therapy, Wellbeing Elements brings together magnesium hot pools, traditional and infrared saunas, cold and ice pools, a eucalyptus steam room and compression therapy to support physical recovery, stress reduction and overall wellbeing.
The experience encourages guests to slow down and tune in, moving intuitively between heat, cold and rest, or following a guided session designed to maximise the benefits of contrast therapy. Whether recovering from training, easing muscle tension, supporting circulation or simply taking time to rest, Wellbeing Elements offers a calm and restorative environment to do so.
"As a local, I saw the need for a space where islanders could invest in their wellbeing and connect with each other at the same time," says founder and director Emma Ashcroft.
"Creating this venue was about bringing new opportunities to the island and supporting the health of our community."
The venue has been carefully designed to support this intention, with clearly zoned areas that allow guests to move seamlessly through their experience. Add-on offerings such as infrared sauna sessions and compression boots provide further support for recovery and circulation.
To welcome locals into the space and offer a closer look at the experience, Wellbeing Elements is hosting an open day on Sunday February 8 from 10am to 1pm.
This is a viewing event, providing an opportunity for those curious about the bathhouse experience to explore the venue, meet the Wellbeing Elements team and learn more about how contrast therapy works.
Guests will be able to feel the temperature of the pools, look inside the saunas, view the compression boots and ask questions about the different services available. Please note that facilities will not be in use on the day.
Wellbeing Elements is now open for bookings, with casual sessions, multi-passes and memberships available to suit different recovery and wellbeing needs.
