New date for Open Day
Phillip Island Nature Parks has confirmed its annual Community Open Day, has been scheduled for September 10 this year.
Phillip Island Nature Parks has confirmed its annual Community Open Day, usually held in March, has been scheduled for September 10 this year.
“We are pleased to confirm the Community Open Day will be held on Sunday September 10 – which is our annual special day to say thank you to all our local supporters,” a Nature Parks spokesperson said.
Bass Coast residents will be able to apply for complimentary tickets to the Penguin Parade on Sunday and Monday, and the Koala Conservation Reserve, Churchill Island and Antarctic Journey at the
Nobbies Centre will open to all residents on Sunday.
More details will be shared closer to the event date.
Nature Parks said the new date for the event is based on feedback from community groups, as well as consideration of peak visitor periods and staff resourcing.
