Wonthaggi North Primary School is the site of the newest early learning centre in the shire.
Member for Bass Jordan Crugnale MP announced that Wonthaggi North Primary Schools will be one of 12 new or expanded kindergartens set to open in Victoria in early 2025 – together delivering almost 900 more free kindergarten places.
Ms Crugnale said the new facilities will support the government’s historic expansion of early years education and “will deliver vital new places to help ensure local children get the best start in life as our community continues to grow”.
“Early design works are now underway which will give more families across our community easier access to quality early years education and make the transition to school easier,” Ms Crugnale said.
“Importantly also, they will make sure that even more children in our growing communities will have access to the life-long benefits of kinder.”
