On Sunday August 18, Phillip Island Jazz presents The Blue Two Few at Phillip Island Bowling Club from 2pm, featuring trumpeter Sean Nihill.

On Sunday August 18, Phillip Island Jazz presents The Blue Two Few at Phillip Island Bowling Club from 2pm.

Formed in 2011 The Blue Two Few are pianist Fionn O'Sullivan and trumpeter Sean Nihill. They have evolved into an exciting New Orleans inspired trad ensemble performing the classics from the late 1910s to the present.

"Sean assures me that the group will perform at the highest level and they will be playing great jazz," said a club spokesperson.

"What a line-up - Fionn O'Sullivan on piano and vocals, Jim Glasson on alto sax and clarinet, Ralph Whiteoak on tenor sax and clarinet, Steve Temple tuba and double bass, Ben Braithwaite on drums and of course Shaun Nihill on trumpet and vocals."

Don't miss them. Phillip Island Bowling Club, 40 Dunsmore Road in Cowes on August 18, from 2pm - 4.30pm.

Tickets are $20 for Jazz Club Members and $25 for visitors.
