Newhaven College Board of Directors, alongside Principal Tony Corr and Director of Business Alan Nolan, plays an important role in shaping the College's future and ensuring it continues to provide outstanding learning opportunities for every student.
Recently, the Board convened over a weekend to work on the College's strategic and financial direction.
"The weekend's agenda was broad, with future focused discussions across areas of learning, communications, student care and safety, people and culture, environmental sustainability, affordability for College families and financial sustainability, future facilities, cyber, AI, and best practice governance," Chair of the Board, David Jobe said.
"The retreat was also the first opportunity to meet as a board since our Principal's return from sabbatical in the UK, and generated some thought-provoking discussions around school culture and student wellbeing, as well as the most appropriate role of technology in learning at different year levels."
