Newhaven College welcomed parents and guardians for a social gathering on the first Friday of term.
Guests were entertained by Newhaven College's Director of Music, Matthew Goss, and guitar teacher Daniel Seale.
College staff and Parents and Friends Association (PFA) volunteers served drinks and canapes for around 140 guests, consisting of new and existing parents/guardians, college staff and teachers.
The incredible Performing Arts Wing foyer was the perfect venue for the event, with great acoustics, plenty of parking and room to roam around and mingle.
Principal Tony Corr welcomed all parents/guardians, staff and teachers to the new year at Newhaven College; and Angel Chambers, Kay Kondarios and Jo Vohland from the PFA were present to answer questions about joining the PFA.
Newhaven College Principal Tony Corr was pleased with the enthusiastic presence on the night.
"Thank you to all parents and caregivers who joined us on Friday night.
The partnership between school and home is key to a child's success, and events like this help strengthen that connection," he said.
