Over the past month, Newhaven College Senior School students had the opportunity to celebrate their school, teachers, parents and each other. Dressing up and joining together in celebration seems a rarity these days, with the Senior School cohort being deprived of such events over the past two years. Understanding this has made Year 11 and Year 12 students appreciate the privilege even more.

On August 8, Year 11 students revelled with one another at Silverwater Resort in San Remo. Parents were invited along to celebrate with these impressive young adults. Everyone had a brilliant night.

Year 12 students descended on RACV Inverloch Resort on August 27 for dinner and dancing. As Year 12 Co-ordinator, Sharon Patterson, said to all Year 12 parents after the event, "Your young people are a credit to you. They are polite and well-mannered, easy to laugh with and very empathetic. I really enjoy spending time with them."

Witnessing senior students take off into the world with confidence and self-awareness is an important part of a Newhaven College education. The college said it looks forward to more events over the coming years.
