Newhaven College students take on croquet
Some Newhaven College Year 9 students have been learning to play golf croquet
Over recent weeks, some Newhaven College Year 9 students, accompanied by teacher Elizabeth Hall, have been learning to play golf croquet from members of the Phillip Island Croquet Club on their lawns (courts) in the Blue Gum Reserve, Cowes.
According to their club mentors, the students were a delight to teach.
They were enthusiastic, very competitive and took on and excelled in all the basic elements of the golf croquet game.
Both mentors and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
