Newhaven swimmers excel in pool
Newhaven College swimming champions recently competed at the South East Independent Schools Association (SEISA) Swimming Carnival at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Newhaven College swimming champions recently competed at the South East Independent Schools Association (SEISA) Swimming Carnival at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Well done to all competitors, not only for their dedication to their individual sports, but also for the way in which they conducted themselves and represented Newhaven College.
The standard of swimming was very high. Congratulations to Olivia Holmes who set a meet record in U13, 100m Freestyle of 1 minute, 6.27 seconds.



At the end of the day, the College celebrated with four Age Group champions: U12 - Aidan Smyth; U13 - Olivia Holmes; U15 - Mostyn Lumsden and Amaya Charlesworth-Stevens.
Newhaven finished second overall behind St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School. It was a very successful day.
