School students across Bass Coast will receive $2.2 million towards camps, sport and excursions, under the new state budget.
The Victorian 2025/26 budget includes a $152.3 million increase in the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund and $15 million to deliver the popular Get Active Kids Vouchers for another two years.
That works out as $2,219,288 for Bass Coast students from families with a Health Care or concession card.
From the start of 2026, eligible primary and secondary student will receive $400, to ensure they can take part in camps, play sport and go on excursions.
The popular $200 Get Active Kids vouchers will continue for another two years, helping more than 65,000 kids.
These $200 vouchers cover the cost of memberships, registration fees, equipment and uniforms for sports and popular activities, and are available to families with a Health Care or concession card.
The program covers more than 70 sports and more than 2100 activity providers across the state.
