Shaz Martello-Howard says her father Fred has always been “my best mate”. When she moved to the island to set up her food truck business, her parents soon followed. “Since then, my dad has come out of retirement and worked countless days and tireless hours with me, whenever I've needed him to, refusing to be paid. My business couldn't have survived without his support,” she said. “I don't have enough words for how much I appreciate everything he does for our entire family.”
