Conquering Skin Cancer in Bass Coast

Phillip Islanders have the chance to hear from skin cancer survivors and experts in a free screening of the award-winning documentary Conquering Skin Cancer at Berninneit on November 20.

This powerful film features compelling interviews with skin cancer survivors, medical experts and Aussie celebrities.

They highlight the importance of prevention, regular self-checks, early detection, and access to treatment.

Viewers can also learn about the latest innovative research aimed at beating skin cancer.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with local health professionals and skin cancer experts.

The film is being presented in partnership with Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service and Gippsland Region Public Health Unit.

The screening is free, but seats are limited. Tickets will also be available on the day.

The film screens in Cowes at Berninneit on November 20 at 5.30pm. Scan barcode to book.

It is also showing at the Union Theatre in Wonthaggi on November 19 at 4pm, and Leongatha’s Stadium 4 Cinema on October 22 at 1.30pm.
