Casey Stoner, Jack Miller, Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi, Enea Bastianini, Fermin Aldeguer and Australian Moto2(tm) and Moto3(tm) riders Aguis, Kelso and Roulstone led a convoy of more than 500 eager fans from San Remo to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
The new route saw the riders travel through Cowes on their way to the track.
Hundreds of fans assembled at San Remo for a chance to see their heroes, while spectators lined the roadsides between San Remo and the circuit to wave the riders on.
The ride is a rare opportunity for fans to meet and ride alongside their heroes.
The spectacle of hundreds of bikes in a convoy crossing the bridge to Phillip Island, then driving through the streets of Cowes was a fitting start to an exciting weekend of motorsport.
