It's planting time at Red Rocks

The Red Rocks Saltwater Creek Coastcare group is holding a working bee this Sunday, July 27 from 10am until 12 noon.

They hope to plant around 200 local indigenous species along the Red Rocks fire trail, in the foreshore reserve and the sand dunes.

They would love to see lots of volunteers keen to lend a hand for this important task.

If you would like to join them, meet at the Red Rocks car park at 10am. Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing for a cool day (12C) with some rain. Gloves and tools will be provided.

A morning tea will be held after the working bee.
