San Remo resident Matt Fidas is out to make a deal, appearing on Deal or No Deal on July 2.

Matt is hoping to walk away with $100,000 when he appears on the show, which he can use to pursue his passion for unique musical instruments.

"Since Covid I have been pretty obsessed with instruments, and have been building a pretty good collection of wacky and different ones," he said.

"I love the gong because it sends you into this meditative relaxed state, and some of the noises you can create just hit something inside that feels so goddamn good.

"Whenever anyone comes to my house we always end up having a big old gong sesh!"

The 26-year-old, who runs his own solar panel cleaning business says he hopes his intuition leads him to selecting the right case.

And if he wins the major prize he hopes to add a few gongs to his collections, helping the ultimate dream of becoming a sound healer.

Matt's episode of Deal or No Deal airs on Wednesday July 2, at 7pm on Network Ten.
