Expenses show Mayor and Deputy Mayor had the highest totals, with those roles requiring more travel.

Behind the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Island Ward councillors Tracey Bell (centre) and Tim O'Brien (left), seen here with Cr Ronnie Bauer, had the highest expenses totals. Cr Bell's expenses included $3900 in professional development, and a council spokesperson said Cr Bell was committed to building "knowledge and skills", and it was expected new councillors "may undertake more training in their first year than those with several years of experience".
